Master Redfield has been been involved in the martial arts for over 30 years, his training began in the early seventies with Samurai Judo under Sensei Vincent Ursone, Master Redfield began his training in Tang Soo Do under Master Joseph Devita in 1985 in Greenwich CT, while attending Art College. After College he returned to training under Master John McGuiness, in Stamford CT. Master Redfield currently is a 4th Degree Black Belt & Master Instructer with the Tang Soo Do Mi Guk Kwan Association.
Master Redfield has also studied the art of Hapkido under Master Art St.Armand currently holds a 3rd degree Black-Belt in the World Traditional Hapkido Federation.
He is also a practitioner of the Usui system of Reiki,he recieved Level I from Master Rena Cupples, Level II under Master Phran Gacher and Reiki Master from Master Martin Lee
Upon moving his family to Garner North Carolina, Master Redfield saw the need for a traditional Tang Soo Do Dojang, and so has opened Redfield Martial Arts.
An avid Tournament Competitor, Master Redfield has traveled the U.S. and Europe, competing in State, Regional, National & International Events where he has taken over 100 medals and trophies. With over 30 years experience in the Martial Arts and years of teaching experience, Master Redfield is uniquely qualified to inspire and coach his students and guide them in their Martial Arts goals.
